  • Citizens Advice provides free and confidential advice on a wide range of issues 
  • Disability Rights UK is a charity with an advice line for disabled students who are studying in England. Phone: 0330 995 0414, email: [email protected] 
  • Equalities Advisory & Support Service has a helpline that advises and assists individuals on issues relating to equality and human rights across England, Scotland and Wales. 
  • The Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education (OIA) is an independent body set up to review student complaints about universities and colleges. If you have made a formal complaint to your university or college but you're not satisfied with the outcome or you think it has been poorly handled, you can take your complaint to the OIA for free.
  • Student Minds, the student mental health charity, offer resources in relation to lots of issues, including finance and disability.
  • Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) provides financial help for students with a learning difficulty, health problem or disability. 
  • Disabled Students UK (DSUK) is a community research organisation run by current and former disabled students. They share research on the experiences of disabled students, run events and have various ways that current students can get involved in their work.
