Recurrent funding

Grant payments to providers are made monthly by BACS transfer on the dates below.

Providers can no longer access full grant payment profiles through self-service.

Formula-funded teaching grants are usually paid to a standard profile. Payments are typically:

• around 15 per cent in August
• around 15 per cent in September
• around 10 per cent in November, December, January, April, May, June and July.

Payment profiles may vary slightly each year to reflect affordability across financial years.

Competitive grants are paid according to the schedule set out in the relevant award letter.

We do not routinely provide individualised cash profiles. However, providers can request a cash profile by emailing [email protected].
