How we are run

We receive an annual guidance letter from the Department for Education (DfE) which sets out our priorities for the coming year, and tells us how much money to distribute to higher education providers.

A framework document sets out the way we work with the DfE.

Most of the funds to cover our operational costs come from fees we charge universities and colleges registered with the OfS.

A proportion of our funds also come from government.
