Proposed new name for City, University of London

We are consulting on a proposed new name for City, University of London.

City, University of London is registered with the OfS and has applied to change its name to ‘City St George’s, University of London’ upon its proposed merger with St George’s, University of London. It is proposed that this merger will take place on 1 August 2024. We are seeking views on whether the proposed name is, or has the potential to be, confusing or misleading.

The deadline for responses is midday on Friday 24 May.
