Student pulse survey
The student pulse survey is designed to provide timely, high-frequency insights into student experiences with a focus on issues of regulatory interest.
The survey runs as six waves of data collection across the academic year, two per academic term. Questions capture aspects of students’ experiences at their provider in key areas of interest to the OfS.
The survey was launched in October 2024 and reports will be published three times during the academic year, when we have data from each term.
The student pulse data is not used for regulatory activity and does not inform regulatory decisions. We are publishing it as it informs one of our key performance measures and helps us reflect on progress against our strategy.
