Proposed new name for the University of Bolton

We are consulting on a proposed new name for the University of Bolton.

The University of Bolton is registered with the OfS and has applied to change its name to ‘University of Greater Manchester.’

We are seeking views on whether the proposed name is, or has the potential to be, confusing or misleading.

The deadline for responding is 2 May 2024.
