Interim financial return November 2026 – deadlines and requirements

This letter to accountable officers explains why we are asking for this additional financial return and provides further details about the data we are requesting, the deadline for submission and how we will use the data in our financial monitoring work.

It includes a Notice under general ongoing condition of registration F3: Provision of information to the Office for Students (Annex A). The guidance (Annex B) gives further information to help higher education providers understand what they need to include in the interim financial return.

Deadline for submission of the return: Friday 13 November 2026.

Please note: this is a single year return and is separate from the Annual Financial Return 2026 that was issued in April.
