This guidance sets out our financial viability and sustainability risk framework. It explains how we assess financial risk in practice, highlights the characteristics and indicators that inform financial risk judgements for individual providers, explains how we apply regulatory judgement concerning our published regulatory requirements in practice, and highlights the level of regulatory intervention the OfS is likely to take in response to escalating risk.
