Quality assessments for registered providers
We assess registered institutions to ensure they meet our minimum requirements for quality and standards.
We continually monitor the regulatory intelligence we gather relating to quality for areas of potential concern. This may lead to us selecting an institution for a quality assessment.
Specifically, our quality assessments consider whether institutions are complying with conditions of registration around academic experience (condition B1), resources, support and student engagement (condition B2) and assessment and awards (condition B4).
The regulatory intelligence we consider includes:
- student experience data
- student outcomes data
- information that institutions submit to us (‘reportable events’)
- notifications we receive.
