Student roundtables: Consultation on regulating harassment and sexual misconduct

We ran a series of interactive sessions to hear from students about our new proposals to tackle harassment and sexual misconduct in higher education.

Five students talking

Did you know that students are more likely to have experienced sexual assault than any other group? (Office for National Statistics, 2021)

Or that nearly one in three black and Asian students have experienced racial harassment on campus? (Equality and Human Rights Commission, 2019)

We're currently consulting on a new approach to regulating harassment and sexual misconduct affecting students in English higher education.

We want to hear what students think. At these roundtables we talked through what we are proposing and invited you to share your views.
