Setting numerical thresholds for condition B3

This document sets out the numerical thresholds that providers registered with the OfS must meet under the revised condition of registration for student outcomes (condition B3). The revised condition to which this document relates was published on 26 July 2022 and is available on our website.

This is a technical document used for the purposes of defining the ‘numerical thresholds’ in condition B3.

Numerical thresholds that apply under the revised condition B3 (student outcomes)

The evidence base that we used to inform the numerical thresholds in this document included the sector distributions of student outcomes and experiences measures data dashboard that we published in September 2022.

Since then we have published updates to the data dashboard, but the numerical thresholds set out in this document continue to apply unchanged until further notice.
