Prevent duty: Framework for monitoring in higher education in England 2018-19 onwards
This monitoring framework sets out how the OfS will monitor providers’ implementation of the statutory ‘Prevent duty’ in the higher education sector in England.
The framework was updated on 16 December 2021 to reflect a change in reporting requirements, effective from 1 January 2022.

16 December 2021 - The Framework document was updated to reflect a change in reporting requirements, effective from 1 January 2022.
02 October 2019 - Two minor typographical errors were corrected in the Framework document.
22 January 2019 - Framework document: We corrected an error in paragraph 92 and in Figure 2: The section of the Higher Education and Research Act referred to has been amended from 3 to 8.
