Data dashboard
The student outcomes data dashboard shows measures of continuation, completion and progression outcomes for individual providers and is used to inform our regulation of condition B3.
For help using this dashboard, please see the dashboard user guide or use the 'help guide' button in the top right-hand corner of the dashboard. You can also use the ‘show help icons’ button in the top-right corner of the dashboard to overlay the dashboard with help bubbles which describe the key elements of the dashboard.
We are aware of issues in the dashboard with the calculation of standard errors for the difference from benchmark estimates. There are two issues.
The first affects some providers within the Taught or Registered population only, and can cause the standard deviation to be higher than it should be. As a result, the statistical uncertainty should be smaller in these places, and the shaded bars less wide.
The second mostly affects areas where the uncertainty is already relatively low, and leads to it being estimated as too low. As a result, the statistical uncertainty should be higher in these places, and the shaded bars wider.
We will correct these issues when we update the data later this year.

06 August 2026 - Added note explaining known issues in the data dashboard.
05 February 2026 - The data has been updated after an error was identified in the calculation of the standard error for the difference from benchmark estimates. This led to the estimates of error being too low in the previous version of this release.
12 November 2025 - Added note about a minor data quality issue in the 6 August 2025 version of our data model, which affects the current dashboard.
21 August 2025 - There was an issue with the Taught or Registered population not including taught (not registered) courses at individual providers - this has now been fixed. In doing this update we have also taken on some small bugfixes to the underlying data, which may cause small changes elsewhere; though none of these changes should be material.
06 August 2025 - Annual update to data
29 July 2025 - Added a notification that the annual update of this dashboard has been rescheduled for 6 August 2025.
28 August 2024 - We corrected the legal names for a small number of providers.
31 July 2024 - We have removed the total for all OfS registered providers from the ‘taught’ and ‘partnership’ views. These previously showed the same figures as the ‘taught or registered’ data for all OfS registered providers.

06 July 2023 - Updated progression indicators to incorporate information for graduates in the 2020-21 academic year
