Changes to classifications of degrees over time – media coverage

There has been significant coverage of the OfS’s analysis of degree classifications over time.

The report finds that while the proportion of top degrees awarded by universities and colleges has fallen, half of first class degrees awarded in 2021-22 cannot be explained by factors that may affect attainment.
