If you are a UK student studying an undergraduate or postgraduate course in the European Union (EU), in the unlikely event that you will need to return home after Exit day the following information will be helpful.
This information has been prepared as part of the UK Government’s preparations for a range of possible outcomes, including no deal.

As the independent regulator of English higher education, we are working with other relevant organisations - the Department for Education and UCAS - to provide information about options and where you can find more information.
If you are a UK national studying a full undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the EU, and you are unable complete your studies due to a change in your circumstances following a ‘no deal’ exit, it may be possible for you to transfer to a university or college in the UK.
As a UK national you could be eligible for student finance, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.
