Monitoring of capital funding allocated in the financial year 2023-24: Guidance for higher education providers

The OfS requires all higher education providers in receipt of capital funding in financial year 2023-24 to submit a monitoring return to account for their expenditure. 

This guidance sets out the monitoring information required from all higher education providers that: 

• received an allocation of formula capital funding in the financial year 2023-24
• submitted a successful bid for competitive capital funding for the financial years 2022-23 to 2024-25, and received payment towards it in the financial year 2023-24.  

The deadline for returning monitoring information is 16 April 2024.
