Evaluation of artificial intelligence and data science scholarship funding

This is the first interim summary report of an evaluation being undertaken by the Careers, Research and Advisory Centre (CRAC) of a funded programme launched in September 2022 that delivers scholarships to students from underrepresented groups who are undertaking postgraduate conversion courses in artificial intelligence and data science.

Commissioned by the Office for Students, the evaluation will involve analysis of student and graduate outcomes data, surveys with students and graduates, and qualitative research with funded providers and other stakeholders. This first interim report focuses on early progress to date, including efforts to leverage support from industry.
