This innovative collaboration is enabling students to achieve their educational and career aspirations through access to part-time work and relevant placement experiences.
The agency and partnership has developed year on year and continues to make an impact on both its students and on a strategic level in South Yorkshire. This unique project is a model which could be rolled out in other further education and higher education landscapes, where the agency empowers learners to stay committed to their goals, encourages learners to consider progression to higher education and promotes long-term success and personal growth.
HeppSY is part of the Uni Connect Programme, funded by the Office for Students. HeppSY is a partnership with Sheffield Hallam University, the University of Sheffield, and South Yorkshire colleges and target schools. HeppSY believe everyone should be able to make informed and inspired choices about their future, whoever they are, wherever they’re from. From college and university taster days to real-life projects with national companies, HeppSY give those who aren’t sure if college or university is for them a new perspective on higher education.
