Consultation on Quality Assurance Agency fees

The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) has published a consultation on the fees it will charge in its capacity as the designated quality body.

The designated quality body (DQB) will conduct reviews of higher education providers and give advice about quality and standards to the OfS. This will enable the OfS to make decisions about whether:

  • to register a provider
  • to keep a provider on the register
  • to grant degree awarding powers.

Providers registered with the OfS and those applying to register will be liable to pay fees to the DQB.

The consultation closes on 24 April 2019
