Office for Students student outcomes and experience data on size and shape of provision

Release date: 12 May 2026

Release version: 2026-1

See table 2 of Rebuild instructions for 2026 data resources for further information, published at:

There are additional risks to data quality in some areas of the 2022-23 and 2023-24 student data returns, but in general we consider the data is fit for purpose and facilitates robust measures of student outcomes and experiences.

The data in the files available here can also be found in the 'Size and shape of provision data dashboard'.

Rows in the table below are only included where there is relevant information to report for the provider. As a result, some valid data combinations may be omitted if the provider does not have at least 2 students to inform that row combination.

Headcounts have been rounded to the nearest 10 and percentages have been rounded to the nearest 0.1. The following suppression codes outline why data items have been suppressed:

[DQ] - Data has been suppressed due to a known issue with this provider's reported 2022-23 data.

[DPL] - Data has been suppressed for data protection reasons. The code [DPL] has been used to indicate where the data has been suppressed due to a headcount that is less than or equal to 2.

Please note that, for data protection reasons, rows containing two or fewer students will not be shown in the csv file.

[DP] – Data has been suppressed other than those listed above due to protection reasons.

[DPH] - Data has been suppressed for data protection reasons. The code [DPH] has been used to indicate where the headcount is greater than 2 but is within 2 of the total number of students.

[N/A] - The data item is not applicable to that population.

[none] – There are 2 or fewer students in the denominator.
