TEF awards can last for up to three years, but providers can apply annually for a TEF award.
TEF Year Three (2017-18) is currently underway. Applications from providers are being assessed and results will be released in June 2018.
|TEF Year One
||Providers received a ‘meets expectations’ award that lasted for one year.
|TEF Year Two
||Providers could make applications and be assessed. They were rated as gold, silver or bronze. Awards last between one and three years.
|TEF Year Three
|TEF Year Four
||Expected to be the last year that assessments will be done at only provider level.
|TEF Year Five
||Expected to produce individual ratings for subjects, as well as provider level ratings.
In order to develop TEF, we are currently piloting TEF at subject level.
