The OfS defines a Prevent lead as the senior manager responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Prevent duty.

The Prevent duty: Department for Education contacts

The Department for Education also has regional Prevent coordinators who act to support and improve Prevent delivery in each region of England. Their remit includes providing practical support on the implementation of the Prevent Duty in higher education settings. Find out more information.
