About the measure

The measure shows trends in the number of 'student days' for which there was a breach of a quality and standards ongoing condition of registration.

The measure is: days for which there is or has been a breach of one of B1, B2, B3, B4 or B5 multiplied by the number of students affected by that breach in full-time equivalence (FTE).

  • Frequency: Quarterly
  • Population: All students taught at registered higher education providers in England
  • Data sources: HESA for FTE student numbers for each individual provider. OfS regulatory data for start and end dates of a breach of any of B1, B2, B3, B4 or B5
  • Available:¬†On a quarterly basis.
