Consultation on the general approach to publication of the National Student Survey: Analysis of responses and decisions

This consultation set out proposals for the approach to publishing the data received from students’ responses to the National Student Survey (NSS) from 2023 onwards.

The document below gives our analysis of the responses received to the consultation and our decisions on the proposals.

We have also made wider updates to statistical definitions and methodology used across higher education datasets.

The NSS is managed by the Office for Students (OfS) on behalf of the regulatory and funding bodies in the UK, which are the OfS, the Scottish Funding Council, the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales, and the Department for the Economy in Northern Ireland.
